Successful Life Through a Discovery of One’s Own Well-being, Peace, and Wisdom.

Understanding these simple principles of innate action allows us to improve our interactions with others. As we develop these principles in ourselves and reconnect with our own innate health and innate awakening, we naturally interact with others in a more harmonious manner.

These principles operate behind the scenes of our everyday experience, and an appreciation of how they function fosters what is commonly called an ‘inside-out’ understanding of life. To understand life in this way is to realize that your entire experience of life is being created from within you, despite all appearances to the contrary.

► Work be Purifying

————

“Therefore without any attachment, without interruption, perfectly perform prescribed innate actions since by performing prescribed actions a person achieves the highest good”.

Develop a passion for self-realization, for freedom from birth and death, for liberation from bondage. One strong holy desire annihilates all worldly desires. This will help your progress towards freedom. Understand the theory of karma and cut the three knots-ignorance, desire, and selfish action. Then you are beyond the law of karma. Then you are a liberated sage. This is your foremost duty. All other duties are self-imposed through attachment, ignorance, and delusion.

Be equanimous in all conditions, knowing that they are nothing but the fruits of your own past actions, Be indifferent to the pairs of opposites. Always be rooted, inwardly, in the self. Always be blissful. Radiate bliss and joy. Now, none is the foe, none is stranger. Feel and see the self in all beings. Be devoted to the well-being of all humanity. Love for love’s sake. Work for work’s sake.

The Transformative Power of Innate Action:

In this session, you’ll gain insight into how ordinary work can be transformed into a spiritual practice. It is possible for you – regardless of the nature of your job. Innate action opens the heart, clears the mind, and advances your path towards integral well-being. This module will help you:

  • Innate Action purifies your heart
  • It makes negative feelings like ego, hatred, and jealousy disappear
  • It will inculcate good qualities like love, humility, and tolerance
  • This path will make you look at life in a broader and more liberal manner
  • It will help you forgo selfishness
  • Innate Action will make you service-oriented and feel one with everybody
  • It will make you aware of yourself and feel bliss
  • It will develop your inner spiritual strength and power

►Action in Innate Action

————

You can make a difference.

All actions are done by the gunas (qualities of nature) only. He whose mind is deluded by egoism thinks: “I am the doer”. This is the cause of bondage. The ignorant man identifies the self through the force of avidya (ignorance) with his body, mind, and senses which are the products or effects of the three gunas – satva (purity), rajas (activity), and tamas (inertia). Now comes the trouble. If he thinks: “I am the doer”, he has to enjoy the good and bad fruits of his actions. He is brought again and again to this mortal plane.

He who sees that prakrti (nature) performs all actions and that the self is actionless, really sees. The wise man who knows the essence of the divisions of the qualities and functions, holding that “the qualities move amidst the qualities” is not attached. He separates himself from the body, mind, and organs, He stands as their witness and as a witness of their functions by identifying himself with the pure inner self. He says: “Seeing, hearing, touching, speaking, giving, grasping, opening and closing the eyes, are functions of the senses. I have nothing to do. They are the dharmas (proper functions) of the senses. I am distinct from the senses, The senses move among the senses. I am Nirlipta (untainted). I am Asanga (unattached). “This is the drsti (vision) or niscaya (determination) of a jnani. He escapes from the bondage of karma. He is freed from the wheel of birth and death.

If you identify yourself with Brahman and stand as a witness of the activities of prakrti and its effects, mind, senses and body, you will realise “inaction in action”. Brahman is Nishkriya, Akarta, Niravayava (actionless), (non-doer), (without limbs). But he is the primum mobile. He gives a push and prakrti moves and acts . He gazes and prakrti moves and acts. Without his presence prakrti cannot do anything. Therefore it is Brahman only who really does all actions. This is “action in innate action” as taught in the aaa.

“yet ask a volunteer why he or she serves and you often hear some variation of “I’d like to make a difference.”

Innate action is a powerful way to broaden your spiritual pathway. Rather than boxing yourself in with want, desire, and need, you can instead create freedom, ease, and joy through selfless action. If we focus on being genuinely good to all that is around us and consider how our actions affect each other, we will slowly make our way to being a better person and move closer towards enlightenment.

If you have given Innate action a shot, let us know your thoughts and experiences in the comments below. We would love to hear how you are spreading your love and kindness out into the world!

► Path of Selfless Service

————

Selfless Giving Is the Art of Living

In Innate Action, the focus should be on the action, not on the intended result. Suffering exists only in contrast to enjoyment, darkness only as an absence of light, ignorance only as an opportunity for enlightenment. The help itself is quite irrelevant; only the helping matters. The helping helps the karma yogi on his path toward enlightenment; all else is just an ego game. Pure action in innate action is offered not only without ego but also entirely without thought.

The best help that anybody can get is teaching. All suffering happens through ignorance, as in truth no one is suffering. Most karma yogis thus combine actions that assure the basic needs of other beings (such as food and shelter) with actions that help those beings grow out of their ignorance. The “you can eat as long as you are willing to hear me preach” stance may too often be a matter of religious persuasion of a much less selfless kind. But in essence, service combined with teaching is a logical form of innate action—though of course, the true karma yogi would never withhold food or any other benefit, nor seek to convert another through bribes or any other tactics, subtle or unsubtle. Quite the opposite: the karma yogi lives only to serve. The selfless service given is also powerful teaching in itself.

Innate action is the easiest way to open one’s heart. The therapeutic effects of innate action can cleanse one of pain and anxiety as well. As you come forward to give yourself with gratitude, the grace of the divine takes your side. The one who receives the fruit of your action is also touched by this light.

Having been at the receiving end of such a gracious act, the receiver is also propelled to do the same. This creates a circle of love, trust, and giving. Innate action is a truly beautiful path for those wishing to make an offering of themselves.

Again, taken together, these varied aspects of Innate Action – just like the tools of Hatha and the other branches – allow us to deepen our awareness of our tendency to misidentify with the transient aspects of ourselves and others while also building awareness of the true Self that unites us all.  Thus, through mindful service, we can move beyond the misunderstandings through which we generate our own distress and return to our natural state of joy and ease – all the while supporting those around us in doing the same.  So those are the basics of  Innate Action.
